Turkish Delight has a glorious history. It is one of the oldest sweet foods in the world, dating back about 250 years. There are various stories about Turkish delight. Turkish delight is the creation of a confectioner named Bekir Efendi. Bekir Efendi came to Istanbul in 1776 from a small town in Kastamonu in the mountainous regions of Anatolia and opened his confectionery shop. According to another rumor, Turkish delight emerged as a result of a competition between palace cooks to win favor with the sultan. One of the cooks made a food with corn starch, sweetener and sugar and filled it with nuts and dried fruits. This is what we know today as Turkish Delight. The production center of Turkish delight is Turkey.

Our Turkish delight has a very special flavor and consistency because it is cooked in small cauldrons in a boutique style. Double roasted Turkish delight is a classic Hacı Şerif flavor.

Ingredients: Sugar, Water, Corn Starch, Acidity Regulator Citric Acid (E 330) According to Type (15% Hazelnut, 12% Ant. Pistachio, 15% Almond, 15% Peanut, 15% Coconut, 15% Coconut, Cocoa, Pomegranate Juice, Celery Juice), Flavoring (Pomegranate, Orange), Food Coloring (Red Radish Extract, Curcumin (E 100)). Coated according to product type (Pistachio, Coconut, Powdered sugar).
