How to Brew Turkish Black Tea

• Fill the lower pot completely with water and place it on the stove.
• Bring the water in the lower pot to a boil.
• Pour approximately 500–800 ml of the boiling water into the upper teapot.
• Add 2–3 tablespoons of loose-leaf black tea to the upper teapot.
• Add more water to the lower pot if necessary.
• Place the upper teapot on top of the lower pot and return the tea set to the stove.
• Allow the tea to brew over low heat for approximately 15 minutes.
• The tea is ready when it has a rich, dark color and a pleasant aroma, and the tea leaves have settled to the bottom of the upper teapot.

Serving Tip: Pour the brewed tea from the upper teapot into a glass and dilute it with hot water from the lower pot according to your preferred strength.
